Aranmula kannadi
AKFD along with CCI, Chennai worked on a thorough design intervention for the development of the craft Aranmula kannadi and its craftsmen. The perspective of the design process was to revitalize the craft community by sharing new product ideas and directions, so that the craftspeople are willing to explore new areas. The product language was deliberately kept within the design language of Aranmula, the idea being that the product continues to evolve even after the designer is out of the system
